Our Story
A Legacy of Passion and Tradition
Founded in 1987 by the Rossi family, Luna Piena has been crafting exceptional wines in the rolling hills of Cinigiano for over three decades. Our name, meaning "Full Moon," reflects the ancient belief that the lunar cycle influences the quality of wine.
Nestled in the Montecucco DOC region of southern Tuscany, our 15-hectare estate benefits from the unique terroir of clay and limestone soils, combined with the warm Mediterranean climate and cool mountain breezes from nearby Monte Amiata.
Today, the winery is led by second-generation winemaker Elena Rossi, who combines traditional methods with modern sustainable practices to create wines that express the true character of our land.

Sustainable Sourcing
All our grapes are estate-grown on our 15 hectares of certified organic vineyards. We practice minimal intervention viticulture, allowing the vines to express the unique characteristics of our terroir.
Winemaking Process
We combine time-honored Tuscan winemaking traditions with modern techniques. Hand-harvested grapes, natural fermentation, and careful aging in French and Slavonian oak barrels ensure wines of exceptional quality and character.
